We have a world to win. Join LIDSA!

We are the Long Island chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, the largest socialist organization in the United States.

Long Island DSA, formed from the former Nassau and Suffolk County chapters, organizes across our communities to fight for democracy, dignity, and a better future.

We believe people and communities should come before profit. We are not a political party but a member-driven movement that builds power through direct action, political education, electoral campaigns, and holding elected officials accountable.

We fight for societal transformation, including universal single-payer healthcare, a Green New Deal, free public education, workplace democracy, and guaranteed housing, to strengthen care and solidarity across Long Island.
